​ Comprendiendo así que un tenedor o cuchara hace parte de la tecnología que presenciamos hasta nuestros días es clave en esta mirada; aunque no se considere extensión permanente de nuestro cuerpo como son los teléfonos o nanochips que sí lo son y esto nos lleva a pensar el transhumanismo como punto de interés para con nuestra naturaleza y viéndolo desde una perspectiva holística como sociedad conformada por cuerpos/aparatos que emanan energía.

Desarrollé el proyecto “Filomantoo”, que consiste en reunir piezas de componentes electrónicos coloridos o llamativos por su forma; ensamblándolos en soportes de anillos, aretes y prendedores queriendo aludir los mini ensambles hacia el concepto de joya (algo preciado). lo que contienen estás piezas: DATOS/INFORMACIÓN de nos o en su defecto ayudan a conducirle y ser transmitidos.     La realidad es que el desarrollo actual de la ciencia lleva a que hoy la nanotecnología esté en nuestras vidas, inmersa en la humanidad, algo pequeño dentro sí. La obsolescencia de los artículos tecnológicos que usamos a la fecha se dio de manera prematura y veloz, sin comprender bien del todo por parte de la humanidad cómo funciona (la usamos, pero no sabemos cómo opera) es como tener que ir al médico para saber cómo se cura lo que nos duele (sólo unos pocos tienen este saber); el abismo de los avances.     La obra “filomantoo” invita a ver desde una perspectiva fuera de sí, del cuerpo que alberga estos productos tecnológicos como extensiones de nuestro ser dando presencia al trans-humanismo. La vanidad de saber, de la información, del cuidado! se ve plasmada en lo que considero un cofre de joyas; Cabe pensarnos y reconocernos como cuerpo/maquina desde los inicios de la especie dadas las características de nuestro organismo y sus “extensiones” e “intensiones” tecno.

Understanding that a fork or spoon is part of the technology we witness to this day is key to this perspective; although it is not considered a permanent extension of our body like phones or nanochips, which are, this leads us to consider transhumanism as a point of interest regarding our nature, viewing it from a holistic perspective as a society made up of bodies/devices that emanate energy. I developed the “Filomantoo” project, which consists of gathering colorful or striking electronic components, assembling them into supports for rings, earrings, and brooches, alluding to the concept of jewelry (something precious). What these pieces contain: DATA/INFORMATION about us, or failing that, they help to guide and transmit it.​

The reality is that the current development of science has led to nanotechnology being present in our lives, embedded within humanity itself, something small within us. The obsolescence of the technological devices we use today has occurred prematurely and rapidly, without humanity fully understanding how they work (we use them, but we don't know how they operate). It's like having to go to the doctor to find out how to cure what hurts (only a few possess this knowledge); the abyss of progress. The work "filomantoo" invites us to see from an external perspective, from the body that houses these technological products as extensions of our being, giving presence to transhumanism. The vanity of knowledge, of information, of care! is embodied in what I consider a treasure chest. We can think of ourselves and recognize ourselves as body/machine from the beginning of the species, given the characteristics of our organism and its techno-extensions and intentions.
